“I’ve been to almost every dealership in Ottawa, and most of them are either jacking up prices because of low availability, pushing extras you don’t need, or flat out refusing to sell unless you agree to add-ons. Honestly, it felt like a clear violation of OMVIC rules. Myers Barrhaven Subaru was the only place that treated me with honesty and respect. “This was my first experience buying a new to me car and Martin made it so enjoyable! It can be intimidating going into a dealership as they all have a reputation. I was worried I wouldn’t be treated with the same quality of service as I was buying used, however that was not the case! I bought a 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback and couldn’t be happier! “I was intrested in a certain vehicle and was looking around for a close by dealership that would have that car model so that i could test drive it. I then saw one at Myers barrhaven subaru and went on their website and asked if i could test drive the vehicle via chat to have a feel of it and also to make sure i would like the car itself. I was dealing with Martin Varghese who is a sales consultant as well as dealing with Mohamed Hafid who is a Business manager. That being said, once i was in touch with Martin, I was only dealing with him and Mohamed. I dealet with them for the past 2-3 weeks back and forth via text, email, in person which ever method of communication i prefered. They answered all my questions, they didn’t lie or hide any information about the car. Both Very professonal and excellent service as well. I Never felt pressured or rushed at all. there wasn’t multiple sales rep. calling me everyday trying to close the sale or put pressure on me for a deposit, etc. That being said, Once i test drove the car. Well, i fell in love with it and ending up buy it. I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a new car or even a used one that would catch the eye. Best of luck to both! Cheers! “Earlier this month, I purchased a certified pre-owned Subaru Crosstrek, replacing the Toyota I had owned for 21 years. Martin Varghese very professionally and patiently answered all my questions, highlighted the features of the vehicle and walked me through the high-tech features which, I have to admint, were a bit overwhelming for me. Martin gave me the option of looking at two other Crosstrek’s they had in inventory, one older and one newer, to help me determine my needs. I wanted snow tires installed and a cargo cover and Martin made sure these items were addressed and would be ready to go when I picked up the vehicle. Dawid Kocikowski walked me through all of the financing options and later, through the warranty options. He too was very professional and patient in answering all of my questions. When I picked up the car, Martin showed me how the car had been beautifully detailed and that all of the accessories, winter tires, etc. were in place, as I had requested. The vehicles sell themselves, the salesperson sells the dealership. Our experience at Myers Subaru overall was absolutely top shelf.
